  1. Identify lot/builder (us - Gnu Home Builders)
  2. Estimate build cost based on actual or sample architecture
  3. Get pre-approved for loan
  4. Sign contract(s) and place deposit
  5. Gather inspiration pictures and sample plans for architect
  6. Meet with architect to design conceptual floor plans and elevation (ex: hand sketches)
  7. Builder will work with draftsperson to come up a construction set of drawings
  8. Review/approve architecture
  9. Complete loan process with Lender
  10. Builder will work with engineer to site the plan on the lot (plot plan)
  11. Builder will submit the plans for permit approval with the jurisdiction
  12. Meet with design centers (as directed by Builder) to choose interior selections
  13. If necessary, Builder will submit change orders (for changes that the buyer approved/authorized)
  14. Pre-construction meeting
  15. Builder will work with Lender to fund construction via draw schedule/inspection process
  16. Break-ground
  17. Pre-closing walkthrough
  18. Builder will obtain home occupancy permit with the jurisdiction
  19. Post construction meeting to turn over keys 
  20. If necessary, Builder will complete any/all minor items on punch list
  21. Builder will service/warrant the home according to the 2-10 warranty
  22. Check-in to say hello
